reading

finding support and nurturing in thomas moore's Soul Mates: Honoring the Mysteries of Love and Relationship. i really appreciate thomas moore's understanding of the soul. he is also the author of Care of the Soul. i discovered him when i saw his book Dark Nights of the Soul on a dear friend's apartment floor last winter. she had picked the book up at the library, and we arranged for her to leave it at the library desk with a note that it should be passed to me next, and then i went and picked it up (though they had a bit of trouble locating it)... anyways, all of that elaboration is only to emphasize how the book and the author ended up in my hands and that is was a worthy journey. what i love about thomas moore is that he deals in the soul so completely.
