um, i should sleep

i did sleep for two hours today. the rest is happenstance. what a universe. it messes with my head. we did go to the movie. we saw the visitor. evidently, i wasn't really there. i was holding clint's hand. but i guess i didn't find the movie emotionally engaging enough. hmmm. my mom was born in 1947. how's that for a random fact?

clint, though, was paying attention. he rather enjoyed the understated "the visitor." he calls it a story about the american experience because it's about immigrants living their lives in america and how it can be taken away from them just like that... i don't know. i lost track of the characters frequently. too understated i guess. the main character, the professor, was the guy who played the dead dad on Six Feet Under (which is still my favorite tv series). he wasn't into his teaching anymore. his wife had died. and the thing was (according to clint who noticed) that he lived his life with his wife. when she died, he sort of shut down emotionally. until he started caring for the immigrants. anyways, it was fun hearing what he got out of it as i ate my tacos at chipotle. he's sweet. being emotionally alive, even when tired, is good.

yay for it all, even what's confusing. clint says to lie down, that i'll fall asleep before i know it. he's sweet. my oh my. clouds in the sky. bye bye.
