while insurance is not always an exciting thing and can even seem quite boring... yes, it's there to protect you but you spend more of your capital than you'd like on something that seems boring, it's important. a person might get really tired of paying insurance, but knowing it's there is important.

sometimes we even forget all about actually having insurance, but i bet we're sure glad it's there when we need it. otherwise the world is way too expensive to live in. it's way more expensive and non-supportive than we'd ever imagine.

i switched insurance companies this year. my state farm agent was sad. he's provided me personal service. he was sad that i would go to a company that was cheaper but that i had less history with. i didn't feel bad about making the switch. but i do have a different relationship with the new company, and while they seem easier, i guess i just don't know how the cookie would crumble.
