saturday

well, it's been an interesting day already, and it's only noon. it's going to be a really good day. i woke up at 7 and went to the house to get my laptop, let kyla out, and then went on my way to the south mill where i had some email action. :)

then went to yoga, where roxana was teaching (don't know where liz is since i saw her last night, but my attachment can take it). talked to roxana, who, lucky duck, just got back from puerto rico and then germany with gus, and now they're going to spain for six months. and i'm not jealous :) roxana told me about a couple in lincoln where the guy is in his 70's, and the woman is in her 40's. i guess they have two kids. and pat was there reassuring me to go forward as always. i love pat to bits. she just feels like someone in my family. and then helen was great. she introduced me to someone as heather hunter berg, but i said heather hunter, and she said oh, you've made your decision? and she's going on a silent meditation for four days next week, and we're going to get together after... (but wait i'll be in california, i'll have to talk to her later).

just walked through the farmer's market to get to the downtwon mill to update this blog with two quotes i'll add in a separate post. i'm wearing a dress that amy gave me last summer and loving it on this hot day. looking forward to a big clothing swap coming up soon! so excited to see my girls in ca!

and speaking of my girls, just talked to kelly, who is fresh back from belgium. she and christophe are in the process of moving apartments. they're moving from zulaika's old one bedroom place to a two bedroom, two-story place in cindy's old building on 19th street. i'm excited to hear about christophe sister caroline's wedding. i met caroline at kelly and christophe's wedding in 2005 and then again when i visited them when they were living in belgium in 2006. i'm really glad caroline has found good love. she is a wonderful girl.

kelly and i are going to swap stories and take in some serenity and shade at the sunken gardens. i'm going to bring us ice coffees.

lincoln is a fun place to me today. i went into the bakery across from the mill before yoga and got two cookies. i wanted like 10, but then my energy (pre-yoga and calmed nervous system) was so much that the guy wasn't following my quick ideas about cookies, which very much ended up being for the best. he was really nice, in his 60's or so. i liked our energies. he told me he hopes i come back soon. he was very bakery nice.

i'm still thrilled about my interactions over phone/gmail/email. life is very fun right now. and talked to my sister ann on the phone today because i get to see my brothers tom and steve for the first time in awhile today! i think we may take family pictures. don't know how long we'll hang out, but it was good to connect a little on the phone, and i want to talk to tom about painting, see how steve and tom's time in omaha has been so far...

i'm kind of bouncing inside. i think i'm really excited to see kelly. we were connecting like we did pre-clint in 2001. it's kind of like, hey, i'm back!
